Changing the size of the Chart title

Jul 22, 2016 at 12:21 PM
I need to make these charts take up a little screen space as possible. First thing I want to do is make the chart title smaller, but I can't figure out how to set the correct style. I see that I can set the ChartTitleStyle property on my chart, but don't know what to set this to (element should be chart title? ).

I also tried putting this in the resources for the chart itself to override the default, but it had no effect:

<Style x:Key="ChartTitleStyle" TargetType="TextBlock" >
    <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="9"/>
    <Setter Property="FontFamily" Value="Segoe UI Light"/>
    <Setter Property="FontWeight" Value="Light"/>
</Style>
Help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Hi Franchesca,

Were you able to find any solution to this? I have not found a good way to change text properties of a ChartTitle, which seems to be just a string (and a ChartTitleStyle has to have a TargetType of ChartTitle). One option would be to set the ChartTitleVisibility to false, and then use XAML outside of the chart to specify a smaller title. Do you have any other suggestions?
